Rumi on Virgin Mary Giving Birth to Baby Jesus










If your soul takes a bath just for an instant
behind His Veil of Love,
You'll get to see the Holy Spirit
and give birth to baby Jesus
just like Virgin Mary did.
If you give birth to Jesus like Virgin Mary,
without an earthly father,
Your face will turn saffron-yellow
by the pain of childbirth labor,
just like the beautiful red face of Mary did.
