In generosity and helping others, be like the river.
In compassion and grace, be like the sun.
In concealing others’ faults, be like the night.
In anger and fury, be like the dead.
In modesty and humility, be like the soil.
In religious tolerance and acceptance, be like the ocean.
In presenting yourself to others, either you appear as you are or be as you appear.

در سخاوت و کمک به ديگران مانند رود باش
در مهر و دوستي مانند خورشيد باش
در بخشيدن خطاي ديگران مانند شب باش
هنگام خشم و غضب مانند کوه باش
در فروتني مانند زمين باش
در بردباري مذهبي مانند دريا باش
یا خودت باش یا همانگونه که مينمايي باش
